HSMP vs Work Permit, which is better for working in the UK ?.
The best reason I think I went for HSMP was, when you go on holiday and try to get back to the UK, with your HSMP and associated Visa, the immigration control will not longer ask questions like “Where do you work ? However the most important aspect of HSMP is that unlike a Work Permit, you do not need a job offer from a UK employer before applying for HSMP. You look for a job once you get HSMP, this is very flexible compared to the rigid work permit process.
